Great video, very detailed, especially for someone new to rebuilding carburetors.
FYI....if you have an HD cooling system like all of my trucks have, the guage won't be around the middle unless you're towing or hauling.
True that my 03 dodge ram is the same way
Body control module
Just watched your video and it saved my ass .
Nice video sir
Where you buy it from doesn't matter, .... so long as its from a quality part manufacturer
Will this help if the car throws the wrench symbol ? My 2013 taurus interceptor goes into limp mode occasionally and goes away after restarting. Supposedly its the throttle body
P😊]p
Exelent video. There aren't a lot of videos for the older style v belt 300s. It's always nice to double-check and get a refresher before starting a repair I haven't done in a while.
Merhaba manifold daki girişlere hangi çıkışlar bağlanacak bilgi verirmisiniz
Thank you so much... This Video Was Exactly what fixed us.... 👍👍
My 2006 ford Taurus runs very slow when i put it in drive and it sounds like it wants to stall out . Takes ne forever to get up to speed and it barely gets to 40. Can't get it to go any faster. Also when i reverse it knocking and sounds like it wants to cut off . What do you think is wrong with it
the bolt attached to the frame/the higher bolt wont come out no matter what i do, any suggestions? tried heating it, penetrating oil, nothing
Do you even need to take the vale cover off to replace the pcv?
New thermostat valve Didnt fix my issue...
Make sure the fans aren't kicking on too soon
@@Wet_Willys_Wetter_Waterit shouldn’t matter because the thermostat is going to regulate the engine. The gauge sensor is on the engine side not the radiator side
its not an issue, cold is good.
@@audaxxi1537 not in a modern engine. You’re mis informed. Mass air flow, idle air control valve. As well as the heater work off a fully warmed up engine.
Exactly what I needed! 😊 2004 kia spectra here.
My 78 crew cab tank looks completely different. The filler neck is on the aft of the tank. Could I still use one of these tanks for mine?
Hello is there any other metal I can use except silver for soldering this?
You make it look so easy lol..
This video is not very clear visually. Sad to say. Yet, there is enough info to figure out and fix.
He doesn't need to be posting videos. !!!!
Yea. THIS GUY IS A MESS !!!
you need to tell people the year. my 2003 is just like these
Yours is the only useful vid on UA-cam for replacing a water pump on a 6th Gen F150 "Dentside". I just picked up a 1978 F150 Ranger Lariat with the 400/6.6L, replaced the radiator hoses and thermostat only to find the water pump leaking. Probably the gasket, but might as well do the pump. And the belts. And those few more things I'll find along the way, too. Thanks for the vid!
Was great 🤜❤🎉💕🥊😊
How does your mud have corn in it?
You have other issues than a dirty throttle body…
Excellent thank you 😊
Those Fords eat coils for breakfast every 6 months
aT 1:20 lmao.... we had five Taurii in the family and I worked on every one of them at least one time. The aformentioned bolt is exactly as you described. I had to use two short extentions and a universal to get at it. PITA indeed. The video is vgood, but lighting at parts is wanting. All in all, I would give you a 98!
i knew the ear muffs werent gonna last long
Mine has the OHV and it has the same kind of misfire????????
Great job and very informative. Thanks for the great tutorial.
Did it fixed the problem?
Fill bowls carb shoot little shot staryer fluid will help it draw
Finally! A video that shows every step. Thank you!
Thanks for the simple explanation. Going to replace the condenser on my Kia Rio MK2 due to corrosion and fins missing, basically the same car as the getz.
Thank you
If the switch doesn't work then how do you align the bolts
My son is on a long road trip from buying a used car here in Florida that he is driving up to New Jersey. The car had previous issues with the horn so it was disconnected by the previous owner.. Almost 2 hrs away from New Jersey both switches stopped working. The one for the lights and blinkers and the one for his wipers. The back plastic attachment behind the steering wheel that houses them came loose. He can only use his hazards. Could this possibly be something got disconnected or the same issue in this video?
Thank you
Is this how you fix the code for multiple cylinder
You the man Seriously.. im now having same issue. The bolts on the bottom of compressor are pain in the..A
Thank you for this video, it saved me a trip the shop, I ended up just cleaning the old one.
Other commenters are correct, no need to remove the whole assembly. ua-cam.com/video/PgQho9bd8Ao/v-deo.html shows a more direct, simple and quicker process
Can’t you connect them directly with the wires?
ok thanks for this, i was wondering how the heck to get those T-wire connectors off, but you just pulled the wire out and left them... these aftermarket alarms are super annoying!
What year camry?
😅 autozone telling me last night this would be a pain in the ass. I didn't even need to youtube this it's simpler than my last car. Thanks for the info tho 😂 lmfao
This dude can NOT be an ASE Certified mechanic. His handling of the removal of the upper intake manifold and mass air flow was very sloppy as was his removal of the EGR valve and assembly. I just disassembled the same type of engine and using Jeff's diagnostics methods I STILL wouldn't know what was wrong with my 3.0 in my 2001 Taurus. The cylinder order should be 1 2 3 5 6 4 from rear plug on passenger side to front plug at driver. No wonder #5 cylinder was misfiring yet his #4 plug was the fouled plug. C'mon Jeff!!
