FYI....if you have an HD cooling system like all of my trucks have, the guage won't be around the middle unless you're towing or hauling.

Will this help if the car throws the wrench symbol ? My 2013 taurus interceptor goes into limp mode occasionally and goes away after restarting. Supposedly its the throttle body

Exelent video. There aren't a lot of videos for the older style v belt 300s. It's always nice to double-check and get a refresher before starting a repair I haven't done in a while.

My 2006 ford Taurus runs very slow when i put it in drive and it sounds like it wants to stall out . Takes ne forever to get up to speed and it barely gets to 40. Can't get it to go any faster. Also when i reverse it knocking and sounds like it wants to cut off . What do you think is wrong with it

Yours is the only useful vid on UA-cam for replacing a water pump on a 6th Gen F150 "Dentside". I just picked up a 1978 F150 Ranger Lariat with the 400/6.6L, replaced the radiator hoses and thermostat only to find the water pump leaking. Probably the gasket, but might as well do the pump. And the belts. And those few more things I'll find along the way, too. Thanks for the vid!

aT 1:20 lmao.... we had five Taurii in the family and I worked on every one of them at least one time. The aformentioned bolt is exactly as you described. I had to use two short extentions and a universal to get at it. PITA indeed. The video is vgood, but lighting at parts is wanting. All in all, I would give you a 98!

My son is on a long road trip from buying a used car here in Florida that he is driving up to New Jersey. The car had previous issues with the horn so it was disconnected by the previous owner.. Almost 2 hrs away from New Jersey both switches stopped working. The one for the lights and blinkers and the one for his wipers. The back plastic attachment behind the steering wheel that houses them came loose. He can only use his hazards. Could this possibly be something got disconnected or the same issue in this video?

This dude can NOT be an ASE Certified mechanic. His handling of the removal of the upper intake manifold and mass air flow was very sloppy as was his removal of the EGR valve and assembly. I just disassembled the same type of engine and using Jeff's diagnostics methods I STILL wouldn't know what was wrong with my 3.0 in my 2001 Taurus. The cylinder order should be 1 2 3 5 6 4 from rear plug on passenger side to front plug at driver. No wonder #5 cylinder was misfiring yet his #4 plug was the fouled plug. C'mon Jeff!!
